Supporting Your Child's Special Education

Managing your child's special education is complex, stressful, and can be overwhelming.  AZ Parent Advocate helps parents work with schools to provide their child with the Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) he or she is entitled to. 


  Notice:  April 2013 - AZ PARENT ADVOCATE is not presently accepting new clients.  

We apologize for this inconvenience, but Kristina is dedicating the next year to completing training that will benefit current and future clients.  She anticipates accepting new clients in August 2014.

Our Services Include:

• meeting with parents to review the child's Individualized Education Program (IEP) or 504 Plan, school or independent evaluations, academic progress, and behavior plans
• determining goals and services 
• attending school meetings with parents
• assistance with writing letters and "creating a record"
• determining the appropriate placement and Least Restrictive Environment (LRE)
  
• training, speaking engagements, and workshops
